Sonntagsskizze (05/19) - Portraitparty in Liège

Der sehr geschätzte Zeichnerkollege Gérard Michel aus Liège, der letztes Jahr im Mai das Treffen "Dessiner Liège" initiiert und organisiert hatte, hat nun eine Collage aus Portraits der Zeichner untereinander zusammengestellt.
Auch meine Skizzen von Kollegen sind darunter ... und auch ich selbst bin zu finden, festgehalten von Tazab.

Gérard Michel, the highly esteemed sketcher colleague from Liège, who initiated and organised the "Dessiner Liège" meeting last May, has now put together a collage of portraits of the draughtsmen among themselves.
Also my sketches of colleagues are among them ... and also I myself can be found, captured by Tazab.

Sonntagsskizze (04/19) - Café Kramuri

Das Café Kramuri belebt die Räume eines verschwundenen Antiquariats. Die Wandregale stammen noch aus dem einstigen Kolonialwarenladen, aus wilhelminischer Zeit.

Café Kramuri enlivens the rooms of a disappeared antiquarian bookshop. The wall shelves still come from the former colonial shop, from the Wilhelminian period.

Es handelte sich um das Antiquariat Herold, Großbeeren-/Hagelberger Straße.

Sonntagsskizze (02/19) - Bar Sketches - Böse Buben Bar

Nach langer Zeit wieder "drinnen" zeichnen ... der Winter lässt kaum eine andere Wahl.
Aber es macht ja auch Spaß, besonders an so netten Orten wie der Böse Buben Bar in Berlin Mitte.

Sonntagsskizze (01/2019) - Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht - DHM Berlin

100 years ago, on 15 January 1919, the German socialist leaders Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht were murdered by right-wing nationalist Freikorps in Berlin.
I go in search of traces.
The Hotel Eden, at that time the headquarters of the Garde-Kavelerie Schützen Regiment, to which the two leaders of the Spartakusbund had been deported after their capture, no longer stands today.
Only a simple bronze memorial in the Tiergarten commemorates the discovery of the body of Rosa Luxemburg.
And in the Deutsches Historisches Museum, apart from the two memorial stones, only a few small-format photos can be seen...

Sonntagsskizzen (21/2018) - "Berlin - The Wall revisited"

My accordion Sketch Booklet "Berlin - The Wall revisited" has been printed!
I am very happy that it has been finished in time for the travel sketchbook fair "Rendez-Vous de Carnet de Voyage" in Clermont-Ferrand.

It shows my sketches - following the wall strip TODAY from Bernauer Straße in Wedding to Schlesischer Busch in Treptow.
Impressions and thoughts that I encountered in my search for the (almost) disappeared Wall.
